The history of Uglem Law PC began with William J. Johnson starting his solo practice at the present location in downtown Northwood in the early 1960’s. Gary W. Lawrence joined Bill a few years later to form Johnson & Lawrence PC. Bill and Gary served the clients of Northwood and the surrounding communities in a general practice of law until Bill retired in the early 2000’s. Shannon P. Uglem began working along side Gary in the fall of 2004. Gary continued to practice until retirement in 2005. Thereafter, Shannon took over the practice and formed Uglem Law PC, providing legal services for clients with North Dakota interests.
