Farrowing Manager Farm Employment Services LLC is seeking a Farrowing Manager for its location in Lakota, ND. The Farrowing Manager will be responsible for supervising farmperformance to meet herd productivity and production costs objectives through designing and coordinating training programs to maintain and improve job skills related to the effective and efficient operation of swine production. Training programs will include overseeing management of breeding targets, semen ordering, semen storage, vaccination schedules, barn cleanliness, ventilation adjustments, and feed management; evaluate training methods, report improvements, and regularly communicate with the Sow Farm Manager and all levels of Management; and stay abreast of developments in swine production and animal welfare to ensure the day-to-day care of all animals in the department. Requires Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, or closely related field and 12 months experience with modern, intensive pork production, swine production methods, implementing biosecurity protocols, animal welfare techniques, and diet and nutrition formulation.
