General Manager Our client, Northern Municipal Power Agency in Thief River Falls, MN seeks to hire a proven leader as its General Manager. This position is responsible for the overall operations of the Agency. Prospective candidates must be a visionary leader and have the highest sense of integrity and honesty. Duties include but are not limited to developing policies and strategic practices for the Agency; promoting an understanding of the Agency's goals and objectives directing the Agency's relationships and position on electric industry issues with governmental agencies, legislative bodies, city government, and the general public. This position reports to the President/Board of Directors Qualifications include a Bachelor degree in economics, business marketing, or engineering along with five plus years of related work knowledge and proven supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills along with the ability to work on multiple projects. Excellent human relation skills with knowledge of the utility industry are essential to this position. Experience in a Joint-Action Agency would be a plus.
