EAST GRAND FORKS City of East Grand Forks seeking FIRE FIRE CHIEF RESCUE EST. 1883 MN Candidate will serve as the City's fire marshal and is responsible for all fire investigations. HS diploma or GED and 5+ years of fire department command leadership and management experience at a level of captain or assistant chief. Associate or bachelor degree in fire science or fire administration preferred. Experience in a combination department highly desired. Requires Firefighter I, Firefighter II, HAZ-MAT Technician and NIMS certifications upon appointment and emergency medical technician and fire inspector certifications within 12 months of appointment. Qualified candidates will demonstrate thorough knowledge of fire and emergency services and a record of establishing sound working relation- ships in the department and in the broader community. Salary range: $81,701-$106,209 DOQ. Competitive benefit package and participation in the Public Employees Retirement Association & the East Grand Forks Fire Department Relief Association.
