PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING The North Dakota Department of Transportation and the City of Grand Forks will host a public information meeting on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 from 5p.m. to 7p.m. Central time zone to present information about the grade separation project at 42nd Street and DeMers Avenue in Grand Forks. The meeting will be held at the Center for Innovation's James Ray Idea Lab located at 4200 James Ray Drive, Grand Forks, ND 58202. The public information meeting will be conducted as an open house. Attendees will have the opportunity to review project information and speak with representatives from the City of Grand Forks, the North Dakota Department of Transportation, and the project team. The project consists of the construction of a grade separated crossing at 42nd Street and DeMers Avenue which includes separate bridges for DeMers Avenue and the railroad, reconfiguring some holes at Ray Richards Golf Course, and utility work in the area. Representatives from the City of Grand Forks, NDDOT, and Bolton & Menk, Inc. will be on hand to answer questions. The recorded presentation and other materials will be available May 12th, 2026 on the project website at www.dot.nd.gov/42nd-street-demers-avenue- underpass The North Dakota Department of Transportation will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities.
