Base Utilities Inc, a water and sewer distribution company based out of Minot is currently seeking multi-talented personnel to work at the Grand Forks AFB, Installing and maintaining water and sewer mains and services. Year round work, Salary position, 45-50 hours per week, Paid Health Insurance, 401k Retirement after 1 year and Paid Holidays. The following applicants must have current driver's license CDL-A preferred, clean driving record, pass a drug and alcohol test, and must qualify to get a Grand Forks AFB base pass, (no criminal record), able to lift 50-75 lbs. We are currently excepting applications for the following: HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS-MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE, CDL-A a plus, EXCAVATORS, LOADERS ALONG WITH SKID STEERS AND TOOLCATS. DUTIES TO INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO: Excavation of OSHA approved holes and trenches, experience in back filling water and sewer main trenches preferred, site grading, placing top soil and seeding. Daily Inspections of equipment, along with daily up keep of equipment TRUCK DRIVER- CLASS A DRIVERS LICENSE- DOT PHYSICAL Minimum 5 years of Low Boy Tractor Trailer Experience. Some side dump possible, tandem axle end dump experience. Duties include hauling equipment primarily on the Grand Forks AFB, with possible trips to Cavalier AFS, Hauling bedding material to and from job site and also to the base. Daily Inspections, and up keep of truck are a must. HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC- MININUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE- CLASS A DRIVERS LICENSE- Knowledge of Komatsu Heavy Equipment helpful but not required, Equipment Low Boy Hauling Experience Necessary. Duties include but not limited to, general and routine maintenance on all types of equipment, knowledge of sewer and water system maintenance and installation a plus as well but will train, inventory of parts and maintenance of the shop LABOR/ PIPE INSTALLERS-MINUMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE- current pipe installers license is a plus, duties to include but no limited to, Installation of water and sewer main general labor, and some heavy equipment operators experience helpful.
