About

The Department of Theatre Arts at the University of North Dakota is recognized as a leading program of theatre arts for the state, and indeed for most of the region. UND offers exciting opportunities in theatre for majors and non-majors with its extensive theatre and dance curriculum, essential studies courses, and production experience. Majors may select a focus in Acting, Directing, Design, or Musical Theatre. The dance curriculum is open to all students with classes in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and Modern Dance. Dance Minors take advanced technique classes and choreography. UND Theatre Arts and its B.A. and pre-professional B.F.A. degrees are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. All students are encouraged to participate in our season productions as well as our student directed one-acts.
