MARVIN Wind o ws and Door s SEEKING 50 TEMPORARY FULL-TIME PRODUCTION WORKERS Marvin Lumber and Cedar Co. d/b/a/ Marvin Windows and Doors, Warroad MN, a manufacturer of wood windows and doors is offering full-time temporary employment from October 1,2018 through December 31 2018. The fifty (50) Production Worker positions being fialled are for our manufacturing plant located in Warroad, MN Pull and prime parts for warehouse. Assemble window sashes and window frames; apply aluminum clad to wood parts, glaze and install window sash. May require use of woodworking. power or hand tools Place completed unit on tow line cart and deliver to loading dock Clean work area at end of shift Temporary Production Worker positions are for the evening shift. Hours are: Mon-Thurs 2:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. with 0-16 hours of overtime. (2 extra hours a day and/or adding Friday night shift of up to 8 hours.) There are no minimum education, training or experience requirements for these positions. Appicant must have the ability to perform job duties and the ability to pass pre employment drug test and physical assessment. The rate of pay will be $15.75 per hour and overtime pay of $23.63 per hour after 40 hours worked per work week, Returning employees may receive .25/hour other benefits, No on-the-job training provided. Employer will not peovide board, lodging of other facility benefits. Workers to be paid on a bi-weekly basis. Employer wil make all deductions from workers' paycheck as required by law, For Workers outside of the area of employment, if the Worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, Employer will reimburse the Worker for transpoetation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. If the Worker is dismissed earlier, the Employer will pay for Worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the Worker originally departed to work, except where the Worker will not return due to subsequentemployment with another employer or where Employer has appropriately reported a Worker's voluntary abandonment of employment The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $12.26/day during travel to a maximum of $51.00/day with receipts, If applicable, Employer will reimburse employee for all visa, border and related fees (except passport fees.) Employer will provide Workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least 4 of the workdays in each 12-week work period of r more for each year they return.
